The idea for Finely Corked came about quite innocently one Sunday afternoon back in 1999. I was at a friend’s house visiting, when I was asked to do the honors and open a nice bottle of Chardonnay. My friend handed me this very unique high-tech corkscrew, which I proceeded to insert into the cork - like a butter on a hot knife.
It was one of those Ah Ha moments. I was looking for an unique idea to build a web business around... and there it was right in my hand.... Unique corkscrews and wine accessories that you can't find in your local liquor or department stores....
And so Finely Corked was born back in 1999! We've been serving customers all over the world since then... FedEx is a beautiful thing!
